Paranoia

On one phone, pass it to your left: the player reads the question privately, answers with someone’s name out loud, and the coin flip decides whether the table hears the question. If it stays secret, the named person has to live with not knowing. In a Party Room, the question goes to one player’s phone only, they name someone, and the coin flip happens for everyone at once. Questions are about behaviour, never anyone’s body. You need at least three people — paranoia needs an audience.

Intensities

  • FunSilly, never awkward
  • AwkwardCringe and embarrassing
  • HardProvocative, uncomfortable
  • Spicy 18+Adults only
  • Unhinged 18+Adults only, no limits

Levels 5 and 6 are for adults only: you confirm you are 18 or older before they are dealt.

Questions

What are the rules of Paranoia?

One player reads a “who here…” question in secret and answers with the name of someone in the room. A coin flip then decides: either the question is revealed to everyone, or it stays secret and the named player never finds out why.

How many players do you need?

At least three, up to sixteen. With fewer, everyone always knows who was named, and the paranoia disappears.

Can I play Paranoia online?

Yes. In a Party Room each player has their own phone, so the question only ever appears on the reader’s screen — no more whispering in ears.

Is there an 18+ version?

Levels 5 and 6 are 18+, behind an age confirmation for every player. Part of them is free; the full 18+ deck comes with the Games Pass (one-time purchase, also included in Wabiro+).
