What is the Vanilla Purity Test?

The Vanilla Purity Test is a lighter, softer version of the classic purity test. You answer 60 yes-or-no questions about ordinary life — crushes and dating, social life, adventure, harmless rule-bending and awkward moments — and get a Vanilla Purity Score from 0 to 100. You start at 100, fully vanilla, and every “yes” takes a little off: a high score means very vanilla, a low score means you have tried a lot. Nothing explicit and no judgement — it is entertainment and a bit of self-discovery, not a scientific assessment.

Last reviewed

What it measures

Dating & crushes
Crushes, first dates, texts drafted three times.
Social life
Parties, group chats, nights that ran late.
Adventure
Travel, last-minute plans, saying yes to the unknown.
Rule-bending
Harmless rule-bending and tiny cover stories.
Bold & awkward
Comfort zones left, cringe survived.

How it’s scored

You start at 100. Each of the 60 questions is a yes or a no, and the questions are split evenly across five categories of twelve. Each category scores the percentage of its questions you answered “no”; the Vanilla Purity Score is the average of the five, rounded to a whole number — exactly 100 minus your percentage of yeses. 90–100 is Certified Vanilla, 0–14 is Vanilla Left the Building.

Questions people ask

See all questions
What does “vanilla” mean in the Vanilla Purity Test?

Vanilla as in the classic ice-cream flavour: familiar, predictable, comfortable — in a nice way. A very vanilla person sticks to plans, comfort zones and sensible bedtimes; a less vanilla person says yes to last-minute trips, bold texts and the occasional dare. The questions are about everyday life, never anything explicit.

How is it different from the regular Purity Test?

It is the softer version. The Wabiro Purity Test asks 50 questions that include nightlife and riskier experiences; the Vanilla Purity Test asks 60 lighter ones about crushes, social life, adventure, harmless rule-bending and awkward moments, so it works for a much broader audience. Both use the same rule — 100 means you said no to everything — but the two scores are not comparable with each other.

How does the Vanilla Purity Score work, and what is a good score?

You start at 100 and every “yes” takes 1⅔ points off, so the score is 100 minus your percentage of yeses. 90–100 is Certified Vanilla, 0–14 is Vanilla Left the Building, and most people land somewhere in between. There is no good or bad score: it only counts which of these 60 everyday experiences you have had, not your personality, your values or your worth.

Is Wabiro free?

Yes. Every experience gives you a complete result for free, without an account: your score, profile, stats or verdict, and a card to share. Some experiences also offer an optional one-time unlock for a deeper report — it is always labelled with its price, shown only after your free result, and never a subscription.

Do I need to create an account or give my e-mail?

No. Nothing is asked before your result — no e-mail, no card, no sign-up. An optional account (magic link, no password) only exists to recover a purchase on another device and, if you want, to keep your Wabiro ID summaries across devices.

Where do my answers go?

Nowhere, by default. Questionnaire answers stay in your browser and results are calculated there; imported chats are analysed on your device and never uploaded. If you create a share link or buy an unlock, we store a short summary (a score, a profile or a few aggregate numbers) — never your individual answers or messages, and never in analytics.

What does a shared result card show?

Only the headline of your result — a profile name, a level or score, a verdict or a few totals — and an invitation to try the experience. No answers, no messages, no personal data. On chat results you choose whether names appear as display names, initials or not at all.

Is this a psychological or clinical test?

No. Wabiro is a self-reflection and entertainment tool built on documented rules. It is not a clinical assessment, a therapy service or a professional relationship diagnosis, and it never labels anyone toxic, narcissistic or abusive. If you are worried about your mental health or your safety, talk to a professional.
