What is the “Purity score” test?

The Wabiro Purity Test is a 50-question yes/no quiz that gives you a purity score from 0 to 100: you start at 100 and every “yes” lowers it, weighted by category — romance, nightlife, chaos, online, social and risk. A high score means you have done very little of it; a low score means you have lived. It is a game to compare with friends, not a judgement of anyone.

Last reviewed

What it measures

Romance
Dates, kisses, texts you should not have sent.
Nightlife
Nights that started as “one drink”.
Chaos
Rules bent, lines crossed, dares accepted.
Online
Phones, screenshots, 2 a.m. decisions.
Social
Friends, lies, and the group chat.
Risk
Things your mother would rather not know.

How it’s scored

You start at 100. Each of the 50 questions is a yes or a no. Inside each of six categories, your category score is the percentage of questions you answered “no”. The purity score is the weighted average of the six categories (weights follow the number of questions in each), rounded to a whole number. 81–100 is Untouched, 0–20 is Lived.

What is a purity score?

A purity score is the number out of 100 that a purity test gives: every yes/no question you answer "yes" to lowers it, so a high score means fewer of the listed experiences. The format is best known from the Rice Purity Test. On Wabiro it is a party game with original questions — a conversation starter, not a moral or health measure.

Examples

  • Comparing scores with friends before a night out.
  • Retaking the test a year later to see what changed.

A purity score says nothing about a person’s worth, values or health.

How is the purity score calculated?

You start at 100 and answer 50 yes/no questions in six categories. Each category scores the share of questions you answered “no”, and the purity score is their weighted average, rounded to a whole number. The full method is public on the methodology page.

What does a high purity score mean?

Only that you answered “no” to most of the 50 questions: 100 means none of the listed experiences, 0 means all of them. It says nothing about your values, your worth or your health, and there is no good or bad score — most people take it to compare with friends and laugh about the gaps.

Where do purity tests come from?

Purity tests started as a US college tradition: a checklist of experiences, scored out of 100, passed around during first-year orientation. The best-known is the Rice Purity Test. Wabiro’s purity test is an independent game with its own 50 original questions and a public scoring method; it is not affiliated with Rice University or any other purity test.

Will anyone see my purity answers?

No. Your yes/no answers never leave your device. A challenge link only shows your score, your profile name and an optional nickname — never which questions you answered “yes” to.

Is Wabiro free?

Taking every experience is free, without an account. Most give you a complete result for free — your score, profile, stats or verdict, and a card to share — and some also offer an optional one-time report or unlock that never renews. On some tests we are currently trying one one-time purchase that unlocks the personal result together with its report; when it applies, the test says so, with the price, before your first answer. Separately, Wabiro+ is an optional subscription that connects your results over time; no free result depends on it.

Do I need to create an account or give my e-mail?

No. Nothing is asked before your result — no e-mail, no card, no sign-up. An optional account (magic link, no password) lets you recover a purchase on another device and, if you want, keep your Wabiro ID summaries across devices. Only Wabiro+, the optional subscription, requires one, because a subscription belongs to an account.

What does a shared result card show?

Only the headline of your result — a profile name, a level or score, a verdict or a few totals — and an invitation to try the experience. No answers, no messages, no personal data. On chat results you choose whether names appear as display names, initials or not at all.

Is this a psychological or clinical test?

No. Wabiro is a self-reflection and entertainment tool built on documented rules. It is not a clinical assessment, a therapy service or a professional relationship diagnosis, and it never labels anyone toxic, narcissistic or abusive. If you are worried about your mental health or your safety, talk to a professional.
