You need: a WhatsApp chat between you and one other person, exported as .txt or .zip (“without media”). No account.

What is Situationship Autopsy?

Situationship Autopsy reads a two-person WhatsApp export inside your browser and measures observable messaging behaviour: who starts conversations, how the messages and questions are split, approximate reply times, double texts, and who restarts the chat after long silences. The result is an effort pattern such as Balanced Ping-Pong or One-Sided Starter. It does not — and cannot — tell you what someone feels, whether they are interested, or whether a relationship will work.

How it works

  1. 1Export the chat from WhatsApp, without media.
  2. 2Drop the file here — it is read inside your browser.
  3. 3See the effort pattern: who starts, who asks, how fast replies come.

How it is calculated

Your browser reads a two-person WhatsApp export and measures behaviour only: messages, conversations started after 4 hours of silence, questions, plan vocabulary, follow-ups without a reply, restarts after 3 days, and approximate reply times. The effort balance (0–100) is how close messages, starts and questions are to a 50/50 split. A pattern is the first of eight documented rules that matches. It never infers feelings, interest or where things are going.

What happens to your data

  • The export is analysed on your device, in your browser. It is never uploaded.
  • Messages and names never reach Wabiro, analytics or Stripe.
  • A share link stores only the pattern and a few percentages — with names shown the way you choose.
  • Nothing is sent to the other person.

Wabiro is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.

Possible outcomes

Eight effort patterns

  • Burst & Disappear

Intense days, then long silences. When one person and the other talk, they really talk — but most days in this export have no messages at all.

  • One-Sided Starter

One person opens most of the conversations. The other replies — but rarely starts. This measures who writes first after a pause, nothing more.

  • Mutual Yappers

Lots of messages on the days you talk, split almost evenly between one person and the other. Both sides keep the ball moving.

  • Weekend Conversation

Most of the messages land on Saturdays and Sundays. The weekdays are quieter.

  • Slow Burn

Replies take their time on both sides — often an hour or more — but the conversation keeps coming back, day after day.

  • Balanced Ping-Pong

Messages and conversation starts are split fairly evenly between one person and the other. Both sides write, both sides start.

  • Uneven Split

One side sends noticeably more of the messages. It says who types more — not who cares more.

  • Steady Rhythm

Nothing extreme: a regular, fairly shared conversation without one dominant habit.

Questions people ask

See all questions
Are my messages uploaded to Wabiro?

No. The export is opened and analysed inside your browser, on your device. Messages, names, phone numbers and the group name are never sent to our servers, to analytics or to Stripe. If you create a share link or buy an unlock, we store only aggregate numbers and labels — with names replaced the way you choose.

Can it tell me whether they like me?

No. It measures what the conversation shows — who starts, who replies how fast, who asks questions, how gaps get restarted. Messaging effort is not the same as feelings or intent, and no chat export can tell you what someone thinks or whether a relationship will work.

How is reply time measured?

An export does not say which message answers which. Wabiro approximates: when one person writes right after the other within the same conversation session, the time between the two counts as a reply. Long gaps start a new session and are not counted as slow replies.

How do I export a WhatsApp chat?

Open the chat, tap the chat or group name (iPhone) or the ⋮ menu (Android), choose “Export chat”, then “Without media”. Save the .txt or .zip file and drop it here. Exporting without media keeps the file small; photos and voice notes are not needed.

Can I analyse a chat other people are in?

Only a chat you are part of and have the right to use. Before analysing, you confirm that — and that the result is for entertainment and self-reflection. Never use it to harass, monitor or judge someone, or for decisions about work, housing or health. Share results with the group, not about it.

Is this made by WhatsApp?

No. Wabiro is independent and not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta. It reads the plain-text export that WhatsApp lets anyone create from their own chats.

What does the conversation actually show?

Behaviour, not mind-reading. Wabiro measures the messages — never what anyone feels.

Wabiro tests are entertainment and self-reflection, not clinical assessments, therapy or professional advice.
