Your Other Life: what if you’d chosen differently?
The first morning
Go back to the last big fork in your road. You know which way you went. This is the other way: one bag, a ticket bought at midnight, a door pulled shut without a sound. Now a noise you can’t place wakes you, and the ceiling above you is not yours.
Where does the other you wake up?
Fiction, not a prediction. About four minutes, no sign-up.

What is Your Other Life?
Your Other Life is a free interactive story on Wabiro. You rewind to the last big fork in your road and make six decisions for another version of you: where they wake up, the work they take, who becomes important, what they do with an offer, how they face the day something breaks, and how they answer a message from the life you actually live. Every choice changes the scenes that follow and the ending — an alternate life with a name, a twelve-year timeline, its defining choice, its trade-off and the strength it built. It is fiction written by people, for fun and reflection, not a prediction of your future.
How it works
- 1Rewind to the last big fork in your road and choose where another version of you wakes up.
- 2Make five more decisions — work, a friendship, an offer, the day something breaks, a message from your real life. Each one changes what comes next.
- 3Read the life they lived: its name, a twelve-year timeline, the choice that defined it, its trade-off and its strength. Change one choice to see what moves.
How it is calculated
Your Other Life is interactive fiction. Six decisions, each with three options, select scenes and ending modules that people at Wabiro wrote and reviewed. There are 729 possible paths; the same version and the same choices always produce the same story. Nothing is inferred about you, nothing is generated during the game, and it is not a prediction.

- The story runs on your device; your choices are not sent to analytics.
- A share link stores only the name of your other life.
- If you buy the optional unlock, the server keeps a one-way fingerprint of your six choices so the purchase reopens that story — never the story itself.
- Fiction written by people: nothing is inferred about you.

Questions people ask
See all questionsIs Your Other Life a prediction of my future?
No. It is interactive fiction written by people at Wabiro: you make six choices for another version of you, and the story that follows is assembled from authored scenes and endings. Nothing is inferred about you, your real life or your future, and no AI writes or guesses anything during the game. Treat it like a good what-if conversation, not a forecast.
Do my choices really change the story?
Yes. Each of the six decisions changes a later scene (the work you can take depends on where you woke up, the turning point depends on that work, and so on) and the ending: its name, its twelve-year timeline, the choice that defined it, its trade-off and its strength. There are 729 possible paths. The same choices always give the same story, so you can come back to it.
Can I change just one choice?
Yes. From your ending, pick any decision, choose another option and the story is rewritten from there — the other choices stay as they were. Wabiro then shows exactly what changed in your other life. If you come back later, you can also replay only the last three decisions, from the turning point.
What does the paid unlock add?
Your ending is complete and free. The optional one-time unlock adds three more fully written parallel lives for your run (what would have happened with other work from year one, with another answer to the turning point, and with another reply to the message from your real life, followed twenty years on), a map of every choice side by side, and story cards to save. You see a real excerpt before deciding. It is one payment, no subscription, and the price is shown before checkout.
What does Wabiro keep about my story?
Your choices and your ending stay on your device. If you buy the unlock, the server keeps only a one-way fingerprint of the story version and your six choices, so the purchase reopens that exact story — on this device, or on another one after signing in with the e-mail used at checkout. A share link stores only the name of your other life. Analytics never receive your choices or your story.
Do I need to create an account or give my e-mail?
No. Nothing is asked before your result — no e-mail, no card, no sign-up. An optional account (magic link, no password) lets you recover a purchase on another device and, if you want, keep your Wabiro ID summaries across devices. Only Wabiro+, the optional subscription, requires one, because a subscription belongs to an account.
