Who Am I?

The guesser holds the phone on their forehead with the screen facing the group; everyone else reads the word and may only answer yes or no. Snorts, dramatic sighs and suspicious laughter are not technically answers, but they help. Once you’ve got it, pass the phone to the next guesser. It works at a family dinner, a sleepover or on a long drive — anywhere there’s one phone and a few people who can keep a straight face. They can’t, usually.

Intensities

  • FamilyGrandma-proof
  • FunSilly, never awkward
  • AwkwardCringe and embarrassing
  • HardProvocative, uncomfortable

Questions

How do you play Who Am I?

One player holds the phone on their forehead without looking. The others see the word and answer the guesser’s questions with yes or no only, until the word is found. Then it’s the next player’s turn.

Can kids play?

Yes. The Family level uses everyday words that anyone can guess. The higher levels stay below 18+ — this game never goes past level 4.

How many players?

From two to sixteen, all around one phone. There’s no room version: the phone has to be on someone’s forehead.

Is it free?

Entirely, with no account: the game stops at level 4, and every level up to 4 on Wabiro is free.
