Wabi: Fourteen little situations. Go with your first instinct — I’m not grading anyone.
How it works
- Pick what you’d most likely do in 14 short situations. There are no right answers.
- Wabiro turns four preferences into one playful age between 18 and 80.
- Read your portrait, then share your card or challenge a friend.
What it is
- A game about how you like to organise your time: improvising or anticipating, new or familiar, today or later, full days or breathing room.
- A transparent formula: same answers, same result.
What it is not
- Not an IQ test, a “brain age”, a diagnosis or a psychological assessment.
- Not a judgement: a higher number does not mean wiser, more mature or better.

Ready for something new, with the details sorted.
You enjoy new things, and you enjoy them more when the practical details are sorted. You can make the most of the day and still know how you’re getting home. You plan a little quiet time to make the most of each discovery.
An example, not a result. Two people with the same age can get different portraits.

Your answers are scored in your browser and kept on this device. Nothing is sent unless you create a share link: then only your playful age, your portrait, four rounded preference positions and an optional nickname are stored, for 30 days.
Questions
Is my Wabiro mental age scientific?
No. It is a playful convention based on four preferences. The method is public so you can see exactly how the number is made, but it has not been validated or calibrated against any population.
Does a higher age mean I’m more mature?
No. By convention, anticipation, familiarity, a long view and breathing room add years; improvisation, novelty, the here and now and full days take years away. Each side has strengths and trade-offs.
Do I need to give my real age?
No. The test works without it. After your result you can type your real age to compare the two numbers on your screen; it is not stored, and it only appears on your card if you tick a separate box.
Why might my result change if I retake it?
Your answers may change with your mood or the period of your life. A different number is a different snapshot, not progress or decline.
How does comparing with a friend work?
You create a link that shows your portrait. Your friend takes the same test; their result stays on their phone unless they also choose to share it back with you. Links expire after 30 days and you can delete yours at any time.
Who can take it?
Anyone 18 or older. Wabiro’s usual age rules apply.
