How the “How Delusional Are You?” level is calculated
Fourteen statements rated 0–3 feed four areas: reading signs (30%), self-image (25%), manifesting (25%) and the ex file (20%). Each area is scored 0–100, the delusion level is their weighted average, and the band it lands in — from Painfully Realistic (0–20) to Living in Your Own Lore (81–100) — names your result. It is an entertainment score, not a psychological measure.
“Delusional” on the internet means optimistic past the evidence — the story view that is definitely a sign, the plan that is mostly a feeling. That is the only sense in which this test uses the word. Here is how the joke is scored.
The four areas
| Area | Weight | Statements |
|---|---|---|
| Reading signs | 30% | 4 — meaning attached to story views, short replies, laughter |
| Self-image | 25% | 4 — the gap between the mental picture and the record |
| Manifesting | 25% | 3 — plans that exist mainly as vibes |
| The ex file | 20% | 3 — stories still told about people who left |
You rate every statement from not at all (0) to painfully accurate (3). All items count directly: a higher rating means a higher delusion level. Nothing is reversed.
The level
Each area is scored as points divided by maximum, times 100. The delusion level is 0.3 × signs + 0.25 × self-image + 0.25 × manifesting + 0.2 × ex file, rounded to a whole number.
| Level | Band |
|---|---|
| 0–20 | Painfully realistic |
| 21–40 | Grounded (with exceptions) |
| 41–60 | Healthy delusion |
| 61–80 | Manifesting since birth |
| 81–100 | Living in your own lore |
The band names your result profile; the neighbouring band towards the middle is your “also close to”. Your highest area is shown as the place the level comes from.
Percentiles
Once at least 200 people have completed this version, the result shows where your level sits among Wabiro users. The distribution is anonymous and self-selected — a comparison with people who took this quiz, not with anyone else.
Why this is not a psychological measure
Delusion is also a clinical term with a precise meaning. This test has nothing to do with it: it does not screen for anything, measures no symptom, and should not be read as saying anything about mental health. Every statement is about everyday optimism — crushes, plans, exes — and every band description is a joke with a scoring system behind it. If any of the questions touched something that is not funny for you, the support resources page lists verified services.
Versioning
Version 1. A change to any statement, weight or band creates a new version; results keep theirs.
