7 Second Challenge

Pass one phone around the circle. On your turn, someone reads the prompt, the countdown starts and you have seven seconds to answer out loud — three cities, three excuses, three anything. Your friends decide whether it counts, and they will be strict. It’s ideal to warm up a party, to fill a long drive, or to watch a very clever person fail to name three fruits under pressure. Low levels work with kids; the Spicy level is for adults only.

Intensities

  • FamilyGrandma-proof
  • FunSilly, never awkward
  • AwkwardCringe and embarrassing
  • HardProvocative, uncomfortable
  • Spicy 18+Adults only

Levels 5 and 6 are for adults only: you confirm you are 18 or older before they are dealt.

Questions

How do you play the 7 Second Challenge?

A player gets a prompt — usually “name three…” — and has seven seconds on the countdown to answer out loud. The group decides whether the answer counts. Then the phone moves to the next player.

Can kids play?

Yes, at the Family level: everyday categories, nothing awkward. The higher levels get cheekier, and the Spicy level is 18+.

How many players?

From two to sixteen, sharing one phone. There’s no room version — it’s a pass-it-around game.

Is it free?

Levels 1 to 4 are free, no account. The Spicy level is 18+, behind an age confirmation: part of it is free and the rest comes with the Games Pass (one-time purchase, also included in Wabiro+).
