Secret Missions: the sneaky game that lasts all evening

Secret Missions

On one phone, pass it round before the evening gets going: each player looks at a private screen with their mission, then hands it on. In a Party Room, each phone simply shows its owner’s mission. Then carry on with the party — the missions happen in between: a phrase slipped into the conversation, a strange question, a tiny ritual. Keep your eyes open, because everyone else is up to something too. No mission ever humiliates anyone, so the only casualty is your poker face.

Intensities

  • FamilyGrandma-proof
  • FunSilly, never awkward
  • AwkwardCringe and embarrassing
  • HardProvocative, uncomfortable

Questions

How long does a game last?

As long as your evening: it’s designed to run in the background for an hour or more while you do something else — dinner, drinks, a film.

What kind of missions are they?

Social, harmless and funny: getting someone to say a word, steering the conversation, a small habit to slip in. Never anything dangerous, and never at someone else’s expense.

How many players?

From three to sixteen, on one phone passed around or with one phone each in a Party Room.

Is it free?

Yes, entirely: missions go up to level 4, and every level up to 4 on Wabiro is free, with no account.
