One phone each, revealed together

Two Truths and a Lie

You need three people or more, each with a phone. The host opens a Party Room, and everyone joins with a link, a QR code or a six-letter code and a nickname — no account. Then everybody writes their three statements: the trick is to make the truth sound unlikely and the lie sound boring. The room votes on each player’s statements and the lie is revealed. It works as a team icebreaker, at a family gathering, or with friends who think they know everything about you.

Questions

How do you play Two Truths and a Lie online?

Open a Party Room and share the link or code. Each player types two true statements and one false one about themselves, marking which is the lie. Then the room votes on each player’s set and sees who fooled whom.

How many players do you need?

At least three, up to sixteen, each on their own phone. It only runs in a Party Room, so the lie stays secret until the vote.

Any tips for a good lie?

Make it specific and a little dull — real-sounding details win. And pick a truth so strange that nobody will believe it.

Is it free?

Yes, completely, and nobody needs an account. You write the statements yourselves, so there’s nothing to unlock.
